Bulls purchased at the sale and awaiting transport are the property of the purchaser from
the fall of the hammer. All care will be taken by management with these bulls but no responsibility accepted for their
well being. If purchasers elect to leave bulls at North Torrakina for delivery by Thornleigh Herefords management, the bulls should be insured during this period.

The vendor guarantees that all bulls offered for sale will have passed a semen test performed by Clearscan Livestock Services (Reg. No. BN98624886). They will be offered as fertile and capable of natural service. If for reasons other than injury, disease or misadventure, a bull is rendered infertile in the first 6 months after sale (and is accompanied by a mutually agreed veterinary certificate to this effect), he may be returned to the vendors’ property (or sold in favour of Thornleigh Herefords). He may be replaced the following year through the purchase of a Thornleigh Herefords bull up to the value of his purchase price. If a bull is purchased at a higher price, then the purchaser will pay the difference between the purchase price of the bull to be replaced and the new replacement bull. The credit will only extend to the purchase price of one replacement bull.

Thornleigh Herefords’ management encourages purchasers to insure their bulls at least in the first season. Purchasers should make arrangements with the agents (or broker of their choice) after the sale’s conclusion should they wish to do so.

All care is taken in the compilation of this catalogue.  Neither the vendor or the printer accept any responsibility for any
errors or ommissions contained in this catalogue. Persons entering North Torrakina do so at their own risk.

All bulls will receive their two initial vibriosis, pestigard and 7 in 1 vaccinations prior to the sale. An annual booster is advised for your bull for purchasers’ assurance against these conditions.

All bulls have received a Baymec Pour On on 23rd March 2017.

There is no restriction on the movement of cattle from the Northern Tablelands LLS region with regard to Bovine Johnes Disease and Thornleigh Herefords is J-Bas 6 herd. It is a Brucellosis, TB and Cab Free area.
